Blue Water Diving Club
We offer the following courses at Blue water Diving.
Try Dives @ £15
These take about an hour and all equipment is provided. If you go on to do a training course with us the cost of the try dive is set against the course fee.
Ocean Diver – £255 plus BSAC & BWD membership and air fills and entrance fees for the open water element. All the equipment is provided except gloves for the open water.
The course consists of 7 theory lessons, a theory assessment, a basic swimming assessment, 5 sheltered water lessons (pool lessons) and 5 open water lessons.
This qualifies you to dive to a depth of 20m.
Sports Diver -
The course consists of 6 theory lessons, a theory assessment, a dry practical lesson, 1 sheltered water lesson (pool lesson) and 5 open water lessons.
This qualifies you to build up to dives of 35m.
We also offer Dive leader at a cost of £140. This is reduced by £20 each if you have the O2 and/or PRM SDC’s.
Skills courses such as First Aid, Dry Suit, O2 Administration are offered if the
demand is there. The cost for these depends on numbers and expenses incurred but
are usually in the region of £20-
BWD welcomes divers from other organisations and crossover courses are offered.
Typically a crossover course costs £40 plus BWD & BSAC membership.
Snorkelling courses at £20 are also available – ideal for gaining water confidence before you go on holiday
